Services

All services are tailored to the needs of the client and focus on the innate potential within reflective spaces for adults, families, and groups of caregivers.

  • Adults often find themselves looking to therapy to address relational issues and to address experiences that interrupt their desires in relationships, work, and wellbeing. In our work together, we will explore the why and how of relating. We will incorporate my years of training to craft an experience that gets to the heart of what you want to better understand and shift in your life. Together, we'll work on both short-term and long-term goals, and we'll discover valuable skills to help you thrive in all aspects of life and relationships.

  • The path of parenthood can often bring forth a mix of profound emotions, including our deepest wounds and strongest desires. This space is warmly open to individuals navigating various stages of parenthood – whether you're exploring conception, grappling with fertility challenges, navigating partnerships, expecting, or already caring for infants and toddlers.

Sessions are designed to nurture increased insight, foster better communication, and deepen connections, both within yourself and with your parenting partners. Whether you prefer virtual sessions, in-person meetings, or occasional in-home visits, the support you need is readily available.

  • My approach to working with families is grounded in attachment theory and informed by deep understanding of child development. In sessions, I will seamlessly incorporate insights from psychodynamic, trauma-informed, Internal Family Systems-informed, and cognitive-behavioral theories.

Treatment delves into contextual factors that may influence the caregiver-child relationship, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach to therapy.

Sessions will include the child and their parent or primary caregiver, as well as separate sessions with just the caregiver and me. The overarching objective of therapy is to nurture and fortify the bond between the child and their caregiver, recognizing it as a pivotal conduit for enhancing the child's cognitive, behavioral, and social development.

  • Young children utilize play as a central method for processing and expressing significant emotional content. Play therapy provides a platform for children to navigate distressing experiences and typical developmental hurdles, under the guidance of a therapist adept at interpreting communication through play cues. Through this therapeutic modality, children can effectively explore and address their emotions in a safe and supportive environment, fostering healthy emotional growth and resilience.

  • As a registered facilitator of the Circle of Security Parenting Program, I'm dedicated to building nurturing communities for parents and caregivers. Through this program, which is offered individually, for partners, and in group settings, we will focus on deepening your understanding of your child's emotional world. By learning to read and respond to their emotional needs, I empower caregivers to support their child's emotional development and enhance their self-esteem.

The Circle of Security Parenting Program honors the innate wisdom and desire for every child to feel secure.

  • If you oversee an early childhood program or lead a prenatal or postpartum initiative, and you're interested in delving deeper into topics such as child development, relationships, and understanding a child's emotional landscape, I invite you to consider exploring collaboration.

Likewise, if you're part of a midwife practice and are keen to provide additional support to the new and expectant parents you serve, I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss potential partnership opportunities.

Feel free to reach out, and let's explore how we can collaborate to enhance the well-being and support of children and families together. I'm eager to engage in further conversation and explore potential synergies. description
